Ryan was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He was an athlete growing up focusing on several sports and optimizing his performance. While at Lafayette High School in Chesterfield, he excelled in Football and Volleyball, while in his youth played baseball and soccer. Throughout his athletic career he had bumps, bruises, and some serious injuries which started him down the path of becoming a healthcare provider. He had to adapt, modify, and learn how to perform better while battling these injuries.
Following high school graduation, he followed a path at the University of Missouri instead of focusing on his athletic career in football. Due to his previous healthcare providers it helped him decide study in a pre-med debating on several different healthcare careers. While at Mizzou, after meeting and having several choices, this lead him to decide that chiropractic care was the career path or him. Once he graduated from Mizzou with a degree in Biological Science and a minor in nutrition he chose to attend Logan College of Chiropractic.
While at Logan, he suffered another injury from playing recreational sports leading him to learn, develop and execute proper rehabilitation. During his Logan career he has taken several courses and seminars including selective functional movement assessment, dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, kinesiotaping, dry needling and acupuncture, and motion palpation. These courses have helped develop and direct him into a unique approach to care. While at Logan he has also been driven into taking courses and working towards being a candidate for his Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation and intends to graduate with his Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters.
Ryan focused on his goal that every individual is an athlete. Every person has the capability to work and excel in what they desire which he strives to help each individual achieve in a pain free manner.
