Jackson

Jackson grew up playing baseball almost as soon as he could walk. It wasn't too long before he joined a competitive team, and he continued to play baseball competitively through most of his childhood. By high school, he had also taken up running and competed on the cross country team for a couple of years. He also started lifting weights in high school, eventually leaving the cross-country team to spend more time in the weight room. By his senior year, he realized it would be his last opportunity to truly play football, so he decided to give it a shot. While he lacked the same level of experience as his teammates, he found a love for the sport and is now an avid fan, rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs. It was also at this point that he realized he no longer loved playing baseball as much and decided that, despite it being a lifelong dream, he didn't want to continue playing in college.

In college, Jackson still wanted to stay active so he joined a local gym, got certified as a personal trainer, and started coaching group fitness classes. Through his experience at Vigor MVMNT, he realized that he enjoys teaching others about movement and encouraging them to be their best selves. Jackson still loves to move his own body in new ways, recently, he took up disc golf as a hobby, giving him a new sport to enjoy. Jackson also likes to hike, go camping, watch sports, and play games with friends in his free time. Jackson hopes to continue learning about the wonders of the human body and grow his skills during his time at Focus on Health.
