MARSHALL
Marshall is a former multi-sport athlete from Van Meter High School who began his collegiate baseball career at Iowa Central Community College before transferring to Grand View University. There, he continued playing baseball and earned a degree in Biology/Pre-Med. His passion for human movement and performance led him to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Logan University, where he is set to graduate in December 2025.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Marshall spent three years coaching high school baseball as a pitching coach, helping lead Van Meter to three consecutive Iowa State Baseball Championships. He comes from a close-knit family—his father, a former Air Force member, now works as an RCM at an engineering company; his mother is a kindergarten teacher at Van Meter Elementary; and he has two brothers who have always been a meaningful part of his life.
Marshall’s interest in chiropractic began during his athletic career, when regular treatments helped him stay at peak performance. That experience sparked a lifelong commitment to understanding how the body moves and using that knowledge to help others recover, stay injury-free, and reach their full potential. He’s passionate about supporting people in their health and fitness journeys and encouraging them to push past limits, no matter the goal.
Outside of his professional interests, Marshall enjoys staying active through working out, hiking, pickleball, and sand volleyball, but also values quiet time with a good movie or a long board game with friends and family.
Marshall is thrilled about his internship opportunity, where he’ll have the chance to work alongside top doctors, rehab specialists, and a skilled team. He’s looking forward to expanding his clinical knowledge, sharpening his skills by observing Dr. Kippenberger, Dr. Pieter, and the rest of the staff, and gaining valuable insight into running a successful healthcare business.
