Reece

Reece is a Mizzou student from Kansas City, Missouri, studying Health Science with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Science. After graduating from Mizzou, Reece plans on going to chiropractic school at Parker University to pursue his passion for chiropractic care.

Reece grew up in a very active household. His mom and dad were college athletes and put Reece and his brother into competitive sports at a young age. He played numerous sports growing up like baseball, football, basketball, swimming, and martial arts, but stuck with baseball and football through high school. At Lee’s Summit West High School, he played varsity football and baseball during his sophomore and junior years. A serious back injury, however, took him out of sports and into bodybuilding. Reece is now a competitive natural bodybuilder with four division wins under his belt so far.

Throughout his years of playing sports, Reece experienced many injuries that often sent him to chiropractic clinics and sports rehabilitation settings. These repeated encounters not only helped him recover physically but also gave him a firsthand appreciation for the role chiropractic care plays in healing, prevention, and overall performance. His own journey through injury and recovery ultimately fueled his passion to pursue a career as a chiropractor, with the goal of helping athletes and others return to the activities they love.

Reece is delighted with his role as a rehab specialist at Focus On Health, where he brings knowledge from academia and experience. Additionally, he’s excited to be able to learn new skills and practices from Dr. Curt, Dr. Matt, and the knowledgeable staff.
